As a CSULB student, our team created a mock DVD release plan for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. We utilized tent poles, limited edition merchandise, and consumer-facing events to launch this new Star Wars story to new and loyal fans alike.
Working to combat a shrinking DVD market, we created tiered DVD packages that would appeal to different fans. Event activations, multiple sweepstakes, and a Star Wars convention for “May the Fourth” were planned to cater to die-hard Master jedis and Sith lords alike.
